Scooter Limo 2 doble Vermeiren

VERMEIREN CARPO LIMO – DUAL SEAT (Tandem) ELECTRIC MOBILITY SCOOTER. Due to a change in personal circumstances, both myself and my wife now being unable to walk any distance needed a suitable 2 seater mobility scooter. Due to storage space restriction this had to be of tandem design. After research and seaking advice from MoviScooters (www.moviscooters.es) we decided on the Vermeiren Carpo Limo and placed an order. Delivery – A delivery time scale of one month was given at the time of order. It was however delivered well within this time frame. The scooter was delivered on a wooden pallet and with more than adequate packaging. Total weight with packaging on delivery 300kg. Assembly - Due to the weight, assistance was necessary to unpack and to assemble the scooter. This was fairly straight forward which consisted mainly of assembling and adjusting the seats. Driving – On the first trip out the steering felt rather heavy but after 100km loosened up and now feels normal. Due to the longer wheelbase extra care is needed in turning and reversing. I was fully confident with handling after a few days. The tiller dashboard display is clear and displays more than adequate driving selection and information including if there is a problem with the scooter. The electric motor is virtually silent when running. The seating is very comfortable but a separate footrest may be required for a shorter than average person riding as passenger. My wife´s feet didn’t reach the floor even with the seat installed at the lowest setting. Overall – I am impressed with the excellent quality of the scooter which of course is reflected in the price but would have no hesitation in recommending this scooter to anyone looking for a dual seat version.
